Specially if you are someone like me that can not make those informed searches. <br /><br />Dr. Russell, how did you know this: " the coast runs roughly NW-to-SE (at around -30 degrees)"? It is because the Ocean is in the left side? <br /><br />Another question I have is, finding Madagascar site with image and site:earthview.withgoogle.com was random luck? I am not sure if this can work for example in the image you posted today.
